Sharon suzhe, Líídlįį Kúę gots’éh ahtę. My name is Sharon Nahanni – Allen I am from Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories. I was raised in Tthékéhdélį – Jean Marie River, NT by my parents Gabriel and Bella Sanguez. I have one brother and two sisters. Along with my husband Kevin Allen and we raised six children together. We had fostered children and became Home boarding parents here at home. I am a proud Dehcho Dene who has many relatives up and down the Mackenzie Valley. My favorite past time is walking, being on the land, and enjoy travelling.
I have been working at Líídlįį Kúę Regional High School since 2015. I have formerly taught in Jean Marie River, Fort Smith, and now reside here in Fort Simpson. I am honored to be able to teach in the Dene Zhátį Language, as well as teach Social Studies and Northern Studies. Working in my home community and giving back has been a rewarding experience. I graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Saskatchewan/ Aurora College in Fort Smith, NT in 2012.
